Trust the process.

Your conflicts, all the difficult things, the problematic situations in your life are not chance or haphazard. They are actually yours. They are specifically yours, designed specifically for you by a part of you that loves you more than anything else. The part of you that loves you more than anything else has created roadblocks to lead you to yourself. You are not going in the right direction unless there is something pricking you in the side, telling you, “Look here! This way!”. That part of you loves you so much that it doesn’t want you to lose the chance. It will go to extreme measures to wake you up, it will make you suffer greatly if you don’t listen. What else can it do? That is its purpose. - A.H. Almaas

Over the last few years I've been digesting the fact that a lot of the things we constitute as 'normal' are harming us, in every capacity - from the way we communicate to the way we eat, I believe we are unconsciously putting blocks up with ourselves and consequently what we truly want or need. I know everybody has different dreams but I'm convinced if you unpack these dreams enough you'll find they will involve connection, health and love. Sometimes I feel like I'm making progress and aligned with life then other days I still feel a void, like I'm lacking or missing something. I'm willing to do pretty unconventional things to interrogate this void further. Entering new situations with a quiet mind and an open heart makes these experiences less daunting. Volunteering at a farm in Denmark where meditation and community are top priorities opened up my perspective on what life can constitute, but of course I still feel pressures to get back to what is expected of an apparently 'educated man' in his mid twenties. I love the idea that one person might resonate with what Seb and myself are trying to do. All I can say is we have good intentions.
